San Francisco Botanical Garden Wedding | Aaron + Trixia
the story
Despite postponements and changes of plans, venues, and visions due to the pandemic, the Maui fires, and life in general — Aaron and Trixia had their perfect fairytale wedding day on October 22, 2023. They got married close to home at the San Francisco Botanical Garden, a serendipitous choice after their very first meet-cute in a plant nursery.
For their super 8 film, they requested this classic Tagalog love song by Rey Valera, “Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko.” And as soon as they told us they wanted this song, I knew I was going to spend my entire editing block SOBBING. The title loosely translates to “even when my hair turns gray.”
It’s a promise of sweetness and affection all the way through growing old together.
It’s simple and earnest.
It’s love.
