Fun Family Photoshoot at Home | Diaz 'Ohana
Angie and her son, Miloh, had a family photoshoot at home that was full of warm, sentimental moments. It was an absolute joy to capture them being their authentic selves in their beautiful space with all the laughter and goodness shared between them. And we loved their furry friends joining in on their session too!
Why Have a Family Photoshoot at Home?
Home is where you can truly be yourself and feel most at ease. So having your family photoshoot at home is a chance to show your genuine connections and interests while being in the comfort of your own space. Angie and Miloh had their family photoshoot at home to commemorate their Maui home which they lived in for the last 10 years before moving to The Big Island. Their home was filled with so much art and love so it was super sweet to capture them honoring the home they built over the years. There was dancing, smoothie making, cuddling and silliness, just like any other day in their home! Angie is a fellow Hawai’i photographer over at Angie Diaz Photography, so of course we had to capture moments these two taking photos of each other!
Including Your Pets in Your Family Photoshoot at Home
Our answer to whether you can include your pets in your family photoshoot will always be a YES! Your pets are part of the family, so including them adds another layer of love and joy to your family session. Pancho and Poké had the biggest cuddles from Angie and Miloh during their session. Their fluffy, happy faces and wagging tails were the cutest and they even joined in on all the playing, dancing and fun too!

Your personal space reflects who you are as a family and your unique personalities. So having your family photoshoot at home also gives you the chance to celebrate your styles and hobbies. Whether it's your favorite item in the living room or an area in the backyard where you've created endless memories, these spaces are all an important part of celebrating your personal space.
During Angie and Miloh's session, celebrating their personal space looked like Angie dancing in front of the mirror with a groovy phone and Miloh bringing out his Star Wars Lego set and capturing memories on their own camera. They both headed out to the yard too, playing with Poké, taking photos by their surfboard and admiring the flowers.
