Modern Museum Wedding | Amelia + Noah
The beautiful thing about wedding details is that they tell a story. From the day you both met to the day you both say "I do." Amelia and Noah's modern museum wedding featured details that perfectly represented their style. Every choice truly made the day what they wanted it to be and we were honored to capture it for them! Not only did we film their wedding on Super 8, but we also photographed their day-after portraits.

Choosing Wedding Details That Represent You
Your wedding day is all about your love and your journey. There's no better way to showcase your story than making decisions and choosing details that truly reflect who you are as a couple. What's important is a wedding day that is unique and unforgettable for you both. All the expectations of what others think your wedding day should look like don't matter.
At Amelia and Noah's modern museum wedding, their details and special touches beautifully reflected their desires, passions and identity.
Part of their pre-wedding planning involved Amelia hand-making and hand-printing invitations, with the help of her mom who is a printmaker. The stamps on every invitation were individually chosen for each guest, using vintage stamps from Noah's grandfather's collection. While preparing for the ceremony, Amelia got ready at her parent's house where she was surrounded by memories and family photos.
Their modern museum wedding ceremony included their flower grandmas walking in the procession with the bridal party and a hand-constructed Jewish wedding canopy (chuppah) symbolizing their new home as a married couple.
As Amelia and Noah met through food and are big foodies, their reception took place at a local restaurant on the Detroit River. Amelia and her friends made centerpiece collages for each reception table and guests were given souvenirs. The souvenirs featured tote bags hand-printed by Amelia and her mom and a jar of peach jam made by Noah. The reception also included the traditional Jewish hora dance, where Amelia and Noah's loved ones danced around them while they were lifted on chairs.
