The forecast called for rain on the day of Alexis and Liam's engagement photoshoot. But with a last-minute location change to avoid it, Alexis and Liam ended up having an amazing engagement session at Secret Cove Beach. All while successfully staying dry!
Their Story
Alexis and Liam met 5 years ago in California when they were both in college and the rest is history! They got engaged in Paris, one of the most romantic cities in the world, right under the Eiffel Tower!
Avoiding the Rain on Your Engagement Shoot
It's no surprise that the sunshine on the Hawaiian Islands all year round makes it the perfect location to have your engagement shoot. But sometimes you'll be met with rainy weather. As we are familiar with locations and weather patterns across the whole island, we are very prepared for when this happens and will make sure you still have fun on your engagement shoot despite the rain.
When we changed locations to Secret Cove Beach for Alexis and Liam, it worked out perfectly! The rain was avoided and the overcast skies made for the perfect moody vibe!
If rain is expected on the day of your engagement shoot, don't be afraid to push through and go with it! Alexis and Liam still had a great time at their Secret Cove Beach engagement session, despite the day not exactly going to plan!
Celebrating Your Engagement on Secret Cove Beach
Secret Cove Beach (Pa'ako Beach) is a beautiful coastal landscape to celebrate your engagement. You can both enjoy the peaceful waves crashing on the rocks, the palm trees waving and Molokini in the background while you're soaking up all the excitement of being engaged!
The beaches were completely empty during Alexis and Liam's engagement session so they really enjoyed the landscape with no disruptions. They sat on the rocks, danced by the sea and had a bit of a splash. You can never go wrong with playing in the water at the end of your engagement session, even if you do avoid getting wet from rainy weather at first!
